The onsen facilities here provide a unique cultural experience, with soothing hot baths that add a nice touch to your stay. The breakfast buffet offers a solid variety of both Japanese and Western food options, keeping you fueled for the day ahead.
Two out of the three restaurants were closed during the stay, forcing us to scramble when entertaining guests since it disrupted our dinner plans. The room we had was clean, but it showed signs of age, with worn carpets and a general feeling of needing a refresh. Also, renting a bike from the hotel is an option, but the immediate neighborhood itself isn’t particularly exciting for tourists, requiring effort to discover local dining spots.

The twin room was surprisingly spacious by Japanese hotel standards. Beds were comfy with decent pillows, and I loved having a top sheet! The decor was a bit tired but that was fine considering the price. The real treat was the free onsen. didn’t expect to enjoy it so much! Although the carpets are worn, everything was clean, and the staff was super helpful.
